This team plays a critical within Pinterest’s digital marketing ecosystem: engaging with agencies, educating them on the platform, and enabling agency partners to successfully launch their clients’ campaigns on Pinterest. Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a high-impact team of Business Development Representatives across multiple European markets dedicated to acquiring, educating, and onboarding agency partners and their clients onto Pinterest.
- Oversee team performance; set ambitious KPIs, monitor deliverables, and ensure achievement of agency activation, adoption, and client revenue goals.
- Identify opportunities to streamline onboarding and training, improve agency engagement, and maximize partner-driven outcomes.
- Develop and enhance programs aimed at educating agencies and equipping them with the tools and knowledge needed for campaign success.
- Support talent acquisition by identifying, recruiting, and retaining top-tier Business Development Representatives.
- Motivate, coach, and mentor your team to surpass targets and cultivate a culture of innovation, collaboration, and results.
- Conduct regular one-on-ones to assess individual development, review progress, and foster continuous improvement.
- Set a high standard of professionalism and client service, embodying Pinterest’s values in every interaction.
- Demonstrated experience leading and developing business development or sales teams, preferably within the digital marketing or agency space.
- Strong understanding of the agency landscape, with a track record of building partnerships and driving growth through agency channels.
- Experience managing high-performing sales/business development teams and recruiting top talent in the digital marketing industry.
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills; able to educate, persuade, and inspire agency partners and team members alike.
- Familiarity with sales performance tools (e.g., CRM or salesforce automation).
- Demonstrated ability to create and manage reports and forecasts using tools such as Excel or Google Sheets.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to identify opportunities, experiment, and scale what works.
