Key Responsibilities
- Set up, prepare, and operate CNC Milling and turning machines in accordance wih production requirments.
- Monitor machine performance throughout production cycles and make adjustments where necessary to maintain quality and efficiency.
- Inspect finished components to ensure compliance wih engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Identify and report machine, tooling, or quality issues promptly.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment in line with company health and safety procedures.
- Work collaboratively with supervisors and team members to achieve production targets and customer deadlines.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and quality.
Skills & Experience
- Previous CNC machining experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
- Basic understanding of machining processes and engineering principles.
- Ability to read and follow technical instructions and production documentation (Job packs).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high quality-work.
- Good problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to learning.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet production schedules.
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented attitude.
