The Role
We are seeking a solution-led and collaborative Design Engineer to join our technical team. You will play a critical role in delivering high-spec infrastructure, including AI data centres and battery gigafactories, ensuring that every project is "Built to Protect".
Key Responsibilities (SEO Optimized)
- Technical Design: Develop and deliver complete roofing and cladding design solutions for complex commercial builds.
- Project Collaboration: Provide technical design support and detailed planning to ensure projects are delivered safely and to the highest standards.
- Safety & Quality: Integrate safety-first thinking into all designs to de-risk sites and maintain our "uncompromising quality" standard.
- Accountability: Maintain full in-house control from design to handover, standing over work with long-term guarantees.
- Strategic Support: Work closely with the Senior Leadership Team to contribute to the design and specification of facilities for end-user clients.
Requirements & Skills
- Experience: Proven track record in structural or design engineering within the construction sector, specifically roofing or cladding systems.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong expertise in CAD/BIM and technical reporting.
- Communication: Ability to communicate with clarity and purpose, contributing effectively in both boardroom and site environments.
- Mindset: A grounded professional who is proactive, disciplined, and takes ownership of their work.
