Salary: Negotiable (based on experience)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:30am–2:30pm - This role offers an excellent work-life balance, with an average of 25 hours per week. During busy back-to-school periods, hours will increase to up to 40 hours per week, so flexibility is essential for this role. You will be paid weekly based on a guaranteed 25-hour work week, providing a consistent and reliable income throughout the year. Additional hours worked during busy periods will be accrued as time off in lieu, which can be taken during quieter periods of the school year.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment and enjoys supporting both sales and operational functions. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of administrative operations while delivering excellent service to customers and internal teams.
The Ideal Candidate

Key Responsibilities
- Capturing and processing customer orders and quotations
- Releasing orders to the warehouse and ensuring accurate shipping information is communicated
- Processing invoices in a timely and accurate manner
- Managing and delegating emails to relevant personnel
- Providing excellent customer service via phone and email
- Filing and maintaining organised records and documentation
- Answering incoming calls professionally and courteously
- Supporting the procurement and sales teams with day-to-day administrative tasks
- Providing support with procurement activities and the preparation and submission of Department of Education art and craft tenders as required.
- Assist with occasional accounts administration duties, including creditor management, chasing payments, and issuing statements.
Minimum Requirements
- 12–24 months’ experience in an administrative role within a busy environment
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Previous experience with Sage 50 Accounting or a similar business management system is desirable.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Professional telephone etiquette
- Fluent English language skills (written and spoken) are essential
