Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Kitchen Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a professional kitchen and hold a valid HACCP certificate. You will support the chefs with food preparation, maintain a high standard of hygiene, and help ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Keep the kitchen, equipment, and utensils clean and sanitised
- Handle deliveries and store items safely and correctly
- Follow HACCP procedures and food safety regulations
- Support the kitchen team during busy service periods
- Manage waste and recycling in line with guidelines
Requirements:
- Previous kitchen experience required (minimum 6 months)
- Valid and up-to-date HACCP certificate
- Knowledge of food hygiene and kitchen safety practices
- Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team
- Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holiday shifts
