Now Hiring: We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and hard working Underground Construction Operative to join our underground operations team at Tara Mines Navan. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a large scale industrial environment.
Role Responsibilities
The successful candidate will assist with a range of underground construction and maintenance activities, including:
- Pipework and services installation
- Ground support installation
- Concrete and civil's works
- Transportation and movement of materials underground
- Maintenance and cleaning of underground infrastructure
- Assisting skilled trades and supervisory personnel as required
- Following all site safety procedures and mine regulations
Full training will be provided for the role, including site-specific induction and underground safety procedures.
Candidate Requirements:
- Valid Safe Pass
- Manual Handling Certification
- Ability to work well within a team and follow site instructions
- Strong punctuality and a positive attitude towards site safety
