JJ Fleming & Co. is a well-established, family-run business, established in 1947, with a strong name in the Irish motor trade. Located on the Tuam Road, Galway, we take pride in the quality of our work, our vehicles and the service we provide to our customers.
We are looking for a Car Valetor to join our growing team.
Previous experience in car valeting, vehicle detailing or a similar role is a big advantage, but experience is not essential. If you are hardworking, reliable, take pride in your work and are willing to learn, we will train you up.
The Role
- Washing and valeting cars to a high standard
- Thoroughly cleaning both vehicle interiors and exteriors
- Vacuuming, shampooing and cleaning carpets, seats and upholstery
- Cleaning wheels, tyres, windows and exterior trim
- Polishing and presenting vehicles to a high standard
- Carrying out final quality checks before vehicles are handed over to customers
- Identifying and reporting any damage or issues with vehicles
- Keeping the valeting area, equipment and vehicles clean and organised
- Working closely with the sales and workshop teams
- Following company health and safety procedures
The Person
We're looking for someone who is:
- Hardworking, reliable and punctual
- Takes pride in their work and has a good eye for detail
- Physically fit and comfortable working on their feet
- Able to work efficiently while maintaining high standards
- Willing to learn and take instruction
- Positive and able to work well as part of a team
- Interested in cars and taking pride in presenting them at their best
No previous valeting experience? No problem. If you have the right attitude, are willing to work and genuinely want to learn, we will provide the training you need.
