Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Team Management: Recruit, train, and supervise staff, ensuring high performance and morale within the team. Provide coaching and development opportunities to help staff grow.
- Sales & Profitability: Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement strategies to improve performance.
- Customer Service Excellence: Ensure the highest standards of customer service, handle complaints, and create a positive shopping experience for every customer.
- Inventory Management: Oversee stock levels, conduct inventory counts, and manage ordering to ensure product availability while minimizing excess inventory.
- Merchandising & Store Presentation: Ensure the store is clean, well-organized, and visually appealing. Implement merchandising plans and promotions effectively.
- Financial Management: Manage budgets, control expenses, and track sales figures to maximize profitability.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and relevant legislation. Conduct regular audits and enforce security measures.
- Sales Reporting: Prepare and present regular sales and performance reports for senior management, analyzing trends and making recommendations for improvement.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Store Manager or in a similar retail management role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to drive sales and achieve targets.
- Good organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with retail management software and tools.
