Job Duties:
- Develop and implement communications strategies for internal and external stakeholders
- Media and public affairs management — preparation of statements, responses, press briefings, photocalls, and media interviews
- Prepare briefing materials for senior leadership ahead of political engagements, including Oireachtas committees
- Develop public and patient information materials
- Coordinate and cascade programme communications relating to updates or changes across teams and stakeholders
- Liaise with stakeholders to ensure smooth operation and accountability
- Monitor media, political, and policy developments at local, regional, and national level; escalate key issues
- Manage and coordinate training or upskilling activities arising from programme changes
- Support crisis and issues management communications
- Manage team workloads, providing direction, feedback, and development opportunities
- Identify and develop KPIs aligned with organisational targets
Professional Experience Required:
- Proven track record in a communications role within the health, construction, or related sector, specifically including:
- Planning and management of communications campaigns
- Development of content for online and offline publication
- Handling broadcast, print, and online media queries
- Experience implementing an integrated communications strategy in healthcare or a related environment
- Experience engaging with and briefing Ministers and their staff (Public Communications)
- Experience working collaboratively with multiple internal and external stakeholders
Educational Requirements:
- QQI Level 8 qualification in Architecture, Engineering, or Surveying
- Candidates with equivalent qualifications awarded outside Ireland are welcome to apply (NARIC equivalence accepted)
Pay: €78,000.00-€98,000.00 per year
