Employment Type: Full-time, Shift Role (Two-Cycle Shift Pattern)
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Qualified Maintenance Technician to join our pharmaceutical manufacturing and packaging team. This is a shift-based role supporting production operations through equipment reliability, maintenance excellence, and continuous improvement initiatives. You will play a key role in ensuring optimal equipment performance, minimizing downtime, whilst maintaining the highest standards of safety, Quality and compliance.
Key Responsibilities

Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on production and process equipment
- Support and execute line changeovers efficiently to meet production demands
- Diagnose and resolve equipment faults and breakdowns in a timely manner
- Contribute to continuous improvement projects with a focus on OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness)
- Assist with equipment upgrades, installations, and commissioning
- Work with PLC systems, HMI interfaces, and vision systems for troubleshooting and optimisation
- Interpret and utilise 3D technical drawings and schematics
- Ensure strict adherence to health & safety and quality standards within a regulated environment
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, production, and quality teams
Requirements

A desired Level 8 degree in Engineering or a Related technical discipline
- At least 3 years' post-qualification experience in a pharmaceutical or highly regulated manufacturing environment
- Strong multi-skilled maintenance background (mechanical & electrical)
- Proven experience in equipment reliability and performance optimisation
- Working knowledge of PLC programming and fault-finding
- Experience with HMI systems and vision systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical and 3D drawings
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail with a strong quality and compliance mindset
- Willingness and availability to work a two-cycle shift pattern
