We are now looking for a Packaging Administrator to join our NPD team in Cahir. This role is responsible for coordinating and administering packaging-related activities to ensure products are packaged in accordance with customer, regulatory, quality, and operational requirements. The role supports packaging development, documentation control and supplier coordination.
Key Responsibilities:

Maintain packaging specifications, artwork records, and technical documentation.

Ensure packaging data is accurately entered and maintained within company systems.

Coordinate approval processes for packaging changes, new product launches, and artwork updates.

Support the management of packaging projects from concept through implementation.

Liaise with packaging suppliers regarding orders, specifications, lead times, and delivery schedules.

Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with quality requirements.

Assist in sourcing alternative packaging solutions when required.

Maintain packaging-related records in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Ensure packaging specifications meet relevant food industry standards.

Support audits by providing accurate documentation and records.

Collaborate with production, quality, procurement, and logistics teams to resolve packaging issues.

Investigate packaging non-conformances and assist with corrective actions.

Generate reports and analyse packaging data to support business decisions.
Key Requirements:

Leaving Certificate or equivalent qualification.

Diploma or degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, Packaging Technology, or related field (desirable).

Experience in an administrative, supply chain, manufacturing, or packaging-related environment.

Experience maintaining records, reports, and technical documentation.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
