Medforce Healthcare Recruitment is currently recruiting a Senior or Experienced Paediatric Physiotherapist to join the Primary Care Team serving North Roscommon and East Galway.
This is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive multidisciplinary team providing high-quality physiotherapy services to children and young people with a wide range of developmental, neurological, orthopaedic, and physical needs.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting children and their families, helping them achieve their developmental goals and maximise participation in home, school, and community environments.
The Role
As a Paediatric Physiotherapist, you will:

Assess, diagnose, and manage a varied paediatric caseload

Develop and implement individualised treatment plans tailored to each child's needs

Support children with developmental delays, neurological conditions, physical disabilities, and motor coordination difficulties

Deliver interventions aimed at improving mobility, strength, balance, coordination, and functional independence

Work closely with families, schools, preschools, and community services

Participate in multidisciplinary assessments and collaborative care planning

Provide education and support to parents, carers, and other professionals

Maintain accurate clinical documentation and reports
Requirements
-
Recognised qualification in Physiotherapy

CORU registration
-
Experience working with paediatric caseloads

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Full driver's licence and access to a car
Desirable Experience

Previous experience at Senior Physiotherapist level

Community or Primary Care experience
-
Experience working with children with developmental, neurological, and physical disabilities

Knowledge of family-centred and goal-oriented practice
