Due to continued growth, we are looking for a reliable and organised Warehouse Operative / Delivery Driver to join our team in Tullamore.
Role Overview
This is a varied role combining day-to-day warehouse duties with the delivery and collection of equipment from customer sites across Ireland. You will help ensure customer orders are picked, prepared, and dispatched correctly, returned equipment is processed efficiently, and deliveries and collections are completed safely and on time.
The ideal candidate will be practical, dependable, and comfortable working both independently on the road and as part of a busy warehouse team.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick, pack, and prepare equipment for customer orders
- Load and unload vans and trailers safely
- Deliver and collect hire and sales equipment from customer sites across Ireland
- Receive and process returned equipment
- Assist with stock control and general warehouse organisation
- Check deliveries against relevant paperwork and maintain accurate records
- Ensure equipment is stored safely and correctly within the warehouse
- Keep warehouse and loading areas clean, organised, and safe
- Carry out basic checks on vehicles before use
- Represent Trade Safety professionally when dealing with customers on site
- Assist the wider warehouse team with day-to-day duties as required
Requirements
- Full, valid Irish driving licence Category B – essential
- Category BE trailer licence – essential
- Previous warehouse, delivery, or van driving experience desirable
- Comfortable driving throughout Ireland and attending customer sites
- Good attention to detail and organisational skills
- Physically capable of manual handling and loading/unloading equipment
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
- Good communication skills and a professional customer manner
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Desirable (but not essential)
- Previous experience working with hire equipment, PPE, or safety equipment
- Forklift licence
- Experience towing trailers
- Familiarity with stock control or warehouse systems
