Job Title: Cleaning Operative (3 months Fixed term contract)
Location: Mervue Industrial Estate, Monivea Rd, Galway
Total Hours Per Week: 20 hours, Monday - Friday , 17.00 pm - 21.00 pm
Job description
- Responsible for the cleaning of areas in the main factory. Use of cleaning equipment and machines.
- Maintain high standards of cleaning throughout.
- Responsible for refuse collections
- Work as part of a team but may also be required to work alone
Qualification Required

1. Practical
- General cleaning
- Ensure high standard of cleaning as directed by supervisor
- Use and care of cleaning equipment
2. Customer Relations
- Encourage good relations with all clients on site and promptly deal with any issues
- Promptly deal with any queries or complaints
- Promote ISS Ireland
3. Training
- Partake in basic induction training for new staff
- Partake in ongoing training from supervisor
- Cooperate with safe working practices (manual handling/safe use of chemicals etc)
4. HSEQ
- Understand how ISO fits into daily business operations.
- Read, understand and work in accordance with the company’s HSEQ Policies.
- Complete tasks in accordance with company HSEQ procedures and work instructions
- Ensure safe work practices and procedures are followed on site
- Use of Personal Protective Clothing and Equipment (w/a)

It may be necessary to work alternative hours, shift patterns or unsociable hours, including weekends and sometimes more than contracted hours.
