Our client, a leading biopharmaceutical company, is keen to hire a Device Technician to join their growing team in Sligo on a 6-month contract. The Device Technician will work as a team member in assembly areas in line with all safety, regulatory and organizational requirements on the day, evening and night shift.
Key Responsibilities (Full job description available on request):
- Preparing equipment, work areas and materials and ensuring/verifying readiness of manufacturing operations.
- Supplying materials to the operations and equipment in a timely and safe manner.
- Machine operation and Manual Handling
- Updating operating procedures and job instructions to reflect current best practices.
- Maintaining the overall cGMP of the production areas.
- Comply with all company EHS policies and procedures and demonstrate EHS best practices in all work activities
- Report any EHS incidents and/or Near Misses (unsafe acts and conditions) immediately to your manager.
Ideal background:
- Previous experience of working in a regulated manufacturing environment would be advantageous.
- Irish Leaving Certificate or equivalent.
- Certificate or higher in a relevant Engineering discipline is desirable.
- Be computer literate.
- Adheres to and follows all procedures policies and guidelines ensuring compliance with cGMP and ISO/FDA regulations and company policies, procedures and guidelines.
