Due to expansion we currently have an opening for a Maintenance Technician to join our successful and growing business. This is a permanent full time position.
- You will report to the Engineering Manager.
- You will be required to cover all aspects of Engineering on site, ensuring that equipment, services and utilities are available to meet Production and legislative/legal requirements.
- Responsible for installing, maintaining and carrying out improvements to all equipment.
- Ensure a quick response to breakdowns and call outs.
- Communicate with all departments and ensure smooth running of all operations.
- Follow Health and Safety, Quality and Hygiene standards.
- Ensure Maintenance Logs and Schedules are completed correctly and on time.
- Stock control of necessary parts.
- Assist with any projects as required by Engineering Manager.
- Any other duties requested by the Engineering Manager.
Requirements:
- Completed an Engineering Apprenticeship with relevant mechanical/electrical qualification.
- Knowledge of PLC’s would be advantageous.
- Previous experience working in a Food Factory.
- Experience working on mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
- Be able to work in a fast paced environment.
- Problem solver.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Works well under pressure.
- Driving license and own transport.
