We are looking for a reliable, organised and detail-oriented Bookkeeper / Accounts Administrator to support the day-to-day financial administration of our growing business. This is a flexible part-time position, ideal for someone looking for a few hours of work each week.
Key Responsibilities
- Process company expense invoices and arrange timely payments.
- Prepare and submit VAT returns.
- Process weekly employee payroll.
- Monitor company bank accounts and reconcile transactions.
- Record and mark customer and company expense invoices as paid.
- Prepare and issue customer invoices.
- Process SEAI grant payments and energy credits.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Complete bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies where required.
- Liaise with suppliers, customers and external accountants when necessary.
- Assist with general accounts administration and reporting.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in bookkeeping or accounts administration.
- Good understanding of VAT and general bookkeeping practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Strong IT skills, including excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Professional, trustworthy and able to handle confidential financial information.
