dnata Catering & Retail Ireland is one of the leading providers of inflight services to the worlds airline customers. We offer a comprehensive range of Inflight Catering, Onboard Retail and Logistics services across all of the Irish airports.
Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, the qualified accountant provides end-to-end financial support for dnata Catering and Retail Ireland, ensuring robust financial governance and accurate reporting.
The Role
- Ownership of specific GL accounts as directed by line manager
- Preparation for review, month end lead schedules
- Support the collation and consolidation of weekly, monthly and quarterly management reports for senior stakeholders on a timely basis
- Assist in month end, quarterly and year end closing process of the company accounts, working with teams across the business
- Support the accurate and timely preparation of the annual financial statements and liaise with auditors.
- Undertake core finance operations including journal entry, balance sheet reconciliation and review of expenses.
- Provide commentary on variances to budgets and prior months.
- Assist in the annual and bi-annual forecasting process.
- Responsible for Revenue reporting such as VAT and CT preparation
- Work collaboratively and proactively with the Finance team and other stakeholders both in Ireland and in HQ Dubai
- Ensure compliance with dnata corporate governance standards and assist with process improvements and adherence to industry best practice.

The Requirments
- Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA).
- Minimum 2+ years’ experience in business analysis, financial management, or similar roles.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge and commercial awareness.
- Highly proficient in Excel and financial reporting systems
- Teamwork and proactive approach
- Be willing to go through 5 year background check and garda vetting
Pay: €50,000.00-€60,000.00 per year
