The Role
The successful candidates will be experienced in all aspects of vehicle servicing, diagnostics and repair, delivering exceptional workmanship in a fast-paced workshop environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs efficiently and accurately in accordance with BMW/MINI retailer standards.
- Perform advanced vehicle diagnostics and fault finding.
- Complete vehicle health checks and identify any additional safety or maintenance requirements.
- Liaise with the Parts Department to source required parts and keep the Workshop Controller informed of any delays.
- Communicate additional repair requirements to the Service Advisors for customer authorisation.
- Complete all job documentation accurately to BMW warranty and manufacturer standards.
- Road test vehicles where appropriate to ensure repairs have been completed to the highest standard.
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
- Stay up to date with BMW technical bulletins, systems and manufacturer training.
Requirements
- EV and High Voltage qualification is required or a willingness to obtain certification where applicable.
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Experience with ADP/Kerridge or similar Dealer Management Systems would be an advantage.
- Full, valid work authorisation for Ireland.
