We are a busy Chinese takeaway restaurant looking for a reliable and friendly team member to handle our takeaway and delivery orders.
Requirements:
- Fluent in English (spoken and written) - additional Chinese is a plus but not essential.
- Previous experience in hospitality or customer service preferred, but training will be provided.
- Fast, accurate, and able to work under pressure during peak hours.
- Eligible to work in Ireland (valid Stamp 1G/4 or Irish/EU passport).
- Flexible to work evenings and weekends.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take customer orders via phone, in-person counter service, and online delivery platforms (Deliveroo / Just Eat).
- Accurately enter orders into the till/POS system and communicate with the kitchen.
- Pack takeaway orders for collection and courier pick-up.
- Handle cash and card payments.
- Provide excellent customer service and resolve any order queries.
