Private Equity Fund Accounting Jobs, Dublin Central. Our client, one of the largest Fund Administrators in the world, holds the largest PE Portfolio in Ireland and they have an opening for a Fund Accountant on their Private Equity team. A years’ experience in a Private Equity Fund or Private Equity Administrator is beneficial, accounting acumen is vital. Day to day responsibilities for this Private Equity Fund Accounting job include • Monthly/Quarterly Reporting Pack Preparation includes but is not limited to: o Maintain the general ledger and various sub-ledgers o Cash and Portfolio Reconciliations o Income and Expense Accruals o Capital Activity processing (calls/distributions/transfers) o Management Fee & Waterfall calculations o Partner Allocation calculations o Prepare and review trial balances o Financial Statement preparation with footnotes • Manage and maintain client SLA’s • Liaise with various internal/external parties e.g. auditors • Communicate directly with senior management and clients with appropriate escalation • Provide technical accounting/industry knowledge to clients • Coordinate with On-boarding team , Tax group, Investor Relations group, Financial Statement group, and other groups within the Company • Prepare and review capital calls, distributions, and statements • Review private equity fund clients limited partnership agreements, PPMs, and other materials • Implementation of fund structures on accounting system • Ad hoc reports and client requests as needed • Train and support team members in their development • Engage in local and global group projects Skills and Qualifications for this Private Equity Fund Accounting job • 1+ years of fund accounting experience in either a Private Equity Fund, Private Equity Administrator, or other financial institution where the accountant has gained financial products knowledge • Experience in reviewing and preparing general ledgers and financial statements • Strong leadership skills and supervisory experience of other professionals • Project management skills with attention to detail and proven ability to multi-task • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Working knowledge of Excel and Word essential, experienced user of the SunGard Investran PE accounting platform highly desirable • Part Qualified or Fully Qualified ACCA candidate very desirable For more information of this fund accounting job or other Banking or Fund accounting jobs, please get in touch with Kate O’Dea @ 01-6621000 or k.odea@brightwater.ie
