We are seeking a qualified or strong part-qualified, experienced Accountant to join our growing business on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a practice-trained professional who enjoys working across a varied client portfolio while also contributing to the improvement of internal financial systems and processes.
Working closely with the business owner, the successful candidate will take responsibility for finalising financial accounts and tax computations while supporting the continued development and efficiency of the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation and finalisation of company financial accounts
- Preparation of tax computations for sole traders
- Managing and overseeing a broad portfolio of clients across various sectors
- Liaising directly with clients to ensure excellent service delivery
- Supporting the owner in reviewing and improving internal systems and financial processes
- Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting and tax regulations
- Assisting with ad hoc financial and operational projects as required
Requirements
- Qualified (Part) Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA or CIMA)
- Previous practice experience is essential
- Strong knowledge of accounts preparation and tax computations
- Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines effectively
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office

Pay: €45,000.00-€60,000.00 per year
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Navan, County Meath
