Millview Childcare in Ratoath, Co. Meath is looking for a caring, enthusiastic and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our preschool team in an AIM Support role.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm (20 hours per week) or 1-6 pm (25 hours per week)
About the Role
This position is funded through the Access and Inclusion Model (AIM) and is designed to enhance the adult-to-child ratio within our preschool room, supporting high-quality, inclusive practice for all children.
A core part of this role will involve providing one-to-one support to children when required, helping them to participate confidently in daily routines, play and learning experiences. However, the position is not limited to supporting one child. You will also work alongside the wider preschool team to support the whole room, promote inclusion, facilitate small group activities, and help create a nurturing environment where every child can flourish.
We are looking for someone who:
- Holds a minimum QQI Level 5 qualification in Early Childhood Care and Education (essential).
- Is kind, patient and nurturing.
- Has a genuine passion for inclusive early years practice.
- Can build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.
- Works well as part of a collaborative team.
- Is enthusiastic, proactive and committed to delivering high-quality care and education.
Experience
Experience supporting children with additional needs is desirable but not essential. We value empathy, initiative and a willingness to learn, and we will support the successful candidate in developing their skills within an inclusive early years setting.
