About MooreHaven
MooreHaven was founded in 1981 to provide a day service for adults with mild to moderate intellectual disabilities. Service users attend from within a 30-mile radius of Tipperary Town, covering parts of Counties Tipperary and Limerick, and have now grown to approximately 130. MooreHaven is an integral part of the local community and employs over 100 full and part-time staff.
Our services have expanded significantly over the years and now include Day Activation, Supported Work/Employment, Day Services, Training Programmes, and HIQA-registered Residential & Respite facilities.
Our mission is to promote and support independent living, community integration, personal development, and meaningful work opportunities for people attending our services.

The Role
We are currently seeking Support Workers to join our Relief Panel within our Day Service in Tipperary Town, Cashel, Thurles.
As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting adults with intellectual disabilities in a safe, supportive, and encouraging environment. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a positive difference and who values dignity, choice, and person-centred care.
Relief panel roles offer flexibility, while still allowing you to be part of a supportive and values-driven organisation.
Requirements
- QQI Level 5 in Healthcare (or equivalent).
- Minimum 6 months’ experience supporting adults with an intellectual disability.
- Full clean Irish/EU driving licence (learners with a test date booked may be considered).
