We are seeking a qualified and experienced Electrician to carry out electrical installation, maintenance, testing, fault-finding and repair works on an industrial sites / new-build project.
The successful candidate will be required to work on an existing industrial site carrying out high-quality electrical work in accordance with applicable Irish regulations, project specifications and company procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Install electrical systems and equipment in accordance with approved drawings and specifications
- Complete first-fix and second-fix electrical installations.
- Install cable tray, containment, trunking, conduit and associated systems.
- Install and terminate power, lighting, Emergency lighting, distribution and control systems.
- Install Fire alarm and life safety systems
- Install and connect switchgear, distribution boards, panels, motors and associated equipment.
- Work on three-phase and single-phase electrical systems
- Diagnose and rectify electrical faults efficiently.
- Carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics and technical documentation.
- Carry out electrical testing, inspection and commissioning as required.
- Work safely in accordance with site permit-to-work, isolation and lock-out/tag-out procedures.
- Ensure all work complies with applicable Irish electrical regulations, standards, client requirements and company procedures.
- Complete job sheets, test documentation, maintenance records and other required paperwork.
- Liaise with site management, engineers, other trades, contractors and clients as required.
- Identify and report defects, safety concerns or issues with installations or equipment.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.
- Participate in planned shutdowns, commissioning works and project completion activities.
- Carry out other reasonable duties consistent with the position and the operational requirements of the business.
Pay: €25.00-€30.00 per hour

Experience:
- Industrial electrician: 2 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Electrical National Craft Certificate (required)
