Key Responsibilities
In this senior, client-facing role, you will act as the lead advisor to an affluent client base, steering their long-term financial success. Your core duties will include:
- Lead Portfolio Management: Act as the primary strategic contact for an inherited portfolio of HNW and UHNW clients, building deep, trusted, and enduring relationships.
- Holistic Advisory: Deliver comprehensive wealth management advice spanning investment strategy, retirement planning, tax-efficient structuring, and estate planning.
- Collaboration & Delivery: Partner closely with internal investment, compliance, and paraplanning teams to design and execute bespoke financial solutions.
- Business Growth: Drive organic revenue growth by cultivating professional introducer networks (solicitors, accountants) and leveraging personal client referrals.
- Regulatory Excellence: Conduct regular, detailed client review meetings while maintaining absolute compliance with suitability and industry regulatory standards.
Required Skills & Experience
To command this sophisticated client portfolio, you must possess outstanding technical credibility and commercial acumen. The essential requirements are:
- Qualified Financial Adviser (QFA): You must hold the QFA designation as an absolute critical requirement.
- HNW & UHNW Expertise: Proven track record with a minimum of 10 years’ experience in private client wealth management, specifically advising high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth individuals.
- Technical Mastery: Deep technical knowledge of Irish pensions, complex investment structures, tax-efficient planning, and intergenerational wealth transfer.
- Commercial Drive: Strong presence and credibility with sophisticated clients, alongside a demonstrable ability to generate revenue and build strategic relationships.
- Right to Work: Candidates must already possess the permanent right to work in Ireland, as visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
Nice-to-Have
While not strictly mandatory, the following advanced qualifications will set your application apart:
- Certified Financial Planner (CFP): Possession of the CFP designation or a similar advanced financial planning qualification is highly preferred.
