About the RAIMS® WEP
RAIMS® WEP is a 100‑day supervised work experience program designed to help law graduates and early‑career legal professionals transition into roles like AI Governance Practitioner in regulated industries.
The work experience program is fully subsidised by Orcawise. The aim is to build the AI governance talent pipeline for sectors such as financial services, healthcare, life sciences, technology, and legal/compliance.
Who this is for
We welcome applications from:
- Law graduates (LLB, LLM, PhD)
- Business and liberal arts graduates
- Technology and data graduates
- Qualified solicitors or barristers
A strong interest in AI, regulation, and governance is essential.
What you will do
Over 100 days, you will work on supervised, high‑impact projects such as:
- Analysing high‑risk AI use cases in regulated companies.
- Mapping the EU AI Act to practical governance controls.
- Building RAIMS® governance frameworks for real enterprise scenarios.
- Preparing high‑risk AI audit reports and Article 9‑aligned documentation.
- Drafting regulator‑ready evidence packs and governance records.
- Designing control libraries, review workflows, and AI risk documentation.
- Developing red‑team scenarios and enterprise implementation case studies.
- Contributing to AI governance assessments in finance, healthcare, and life sciences.
Your portfolio
By the end of the program, you will have a professional AI governance portfolio that may include:
- EU AI Act / ISO 42001 governance mapping
- High‑risk AI audit report
- AI governance evidence pack
- Enterprise AI governance case study
- Risk control framework and implementation‑ready artefacts
These are designed to demonstrate job‑ready capability for AI governance roles in regulated industries.
