Bean Around is an Irish sustainable skincare brand based in Dún Laoghaire. We create exfoliating skincare products from 100% repurposed coffee grounds collected from our partner coffee shops, coffee roasteries, hotels and businesses across Ireland.
We were selected for the Lidl Kickstart programme, became the first non-food producer ever accepted into the SuperValu Food Academy, and were featured on RTÉ sharing our story. We work with companies across multiple industries, from large multinational corporations, to coffee roasters and retail spaces across the country. We're growing fast and we're looking for someone who wants to grow with us.

Role: Business Development Executive
Location: Dún Laoghaire, Dublin (hybrid)

You will be one of the driving forces behind Bean Around's commercial growth, identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with retail and corporate partners, and managing our growing portfolio of accounts with care and ambition.
This is a role for someone who is ambitious, energised by targets, thrives on building and maintaining relationships, and wants to be part of something they genuinely believe in.
New Business Development
- Identifying and pursuing new retail, hospitality and corporate partnership opportunities across Ireland.
- Pitching Bean Around to prospective stockists, hotel groups, coffee roasters and corporate clients.
- Developing and executing a pipeline of new business leads from initial contact to signed agreement.
- Representing Bean Around at trade shows, markets and networking events.
- Identifying opportunities for bespoke product partnerships, helping businesses repurpose their coffee grounds into branded Bean Around products.
Account Management
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing retail and corporate accounts.
- Proactively identifying upsell and growth opportunities within existing accounts.
- Acting as the primary point of contact for all account queries, orders and reorders.
- Monitoring account performance and providing regular updates to the founders.
- Ensuring every Bean Around partner feels valued, supported and excited about what's coming next.
Brand Ambassadorship
- Bringing the Bean Around story to life in every conversation with the same warmth and authenticity that defines our brand.
- Providing market feedback to the founders to inform product development and commercial strategy.
- Contributing ideas and initiative. This is a small team and every voice matters.
Our Ideal Candidate
- A natural relationship builder who genuinely enjoys meeting new people and opening new doors.
- A self-starter with lots of initiative. You see an opportunity and you go after it.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple accounts and leads simultaneously.
- A passion for sustainability, Irish business and doing things the right way.
- Full clean driving licence.
- Enjoys being part of a busy, dynamic work environment.
- Previous experience in a sales, business development or account management role.
- Knowledge of the Irish retail, hospitality or FMCG landscape.
- An existing network of relevant contacts in retail, hospitality or corporate Ireland.
- Experience working with or within a startup or fast-growing small business.
