Sales & Operations Administrator

Optimize Recruitment is delighted to partner with a well-established and growing manufacturer in the Kilkenny region, supplying high-quality products to the Agricultural and Construction industries, to recruit an experienced Office Administrator.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative and supportive team. As a key member of the business, you will work across multiple departments, playing an integral role in ensuring the smooth running of daily operations.
This role is 20 hours per week across 5 afternoons with a possibility of full time hours during busy periods if possible.
The position offers excellent variety, combining responsibilities across customer service, accounts, logistics and operations, making it ideal for a proactive and organised professional who enjoys a dynamic work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Coordinate closely with the Production Department to ensure timely fulfilment of orders.
- Prepare and issue sales invoices.
- Manage debtor collections and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Process receipts and reconcile payments against invoices.
- Schedule deliveries and assist with transport planning and optimisation.
- Liaise with customers, suppliers, and transport providers on a daily basis.
- Provide dispatch support and cover as required.
- Assist with general administrative duties and contribute to ongoing business operations.
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years' relevant experience.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships.
- Adaptable and flexible, with a willingness to support different areas of the business.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Eager to learn and develop within a fast-paced environment.
- Previous weighbridge dispatch experience would be an advantage but is not essential.
