Permanent, Full-Time, Trade Counter Sales Person to join our Team
Job Purpose: To provide product knowledge of building materials, plumbing products and power tools.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Liaise with Suppliers
Provide excellent customer service, dealing with customer phone and/or counter queries
Preparing quotations
Use of the In-House IT Software System
Carrying out any additional duties as required to meet business requirements
Handling customer collections
Ensuring customers are serviced in an efficient and timely manner
Requirements:
Experience in product merchandising
Maintaining professional merchandising standards, including ensuring correct labelling, pricing and complementary product placements
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Computer skills
Motivated with ability to work on own initiative
Friendly, helpful attitude
Experience in Sales, both Trade and Retail an advantage
