Modular Living Ltd t/a Pods4u are hiring a Production Operative to join our expanding team!
The successful candidate will assist in the construction, assembly, and finishing of modular units within a workshop environment. There will be some onsite work to facilitate the instillation of Modular Units. This role involves working alongside skilled tradespeople to ensure units are built to high quality, safety, and production standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the assembly and construction of modular units in a production facility.
- Perform basic to intermediate carpentry tasks, including framing, sheathing, flooring, roofing, and interior finishing.
- Measure, cut, and install building materials according to plans and specifications.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Assist with the installation of doors, windows, cabinetry, trim, and other finishing components.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Work collaboratively with carpenters, electricians, plumbers, and other production team members.
Experince Required
- Practical carpentry experience, including framing and finishing work..
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.
Pay: €14.50-€19.00 per hour
