Salary: €39,100-€56,349 per annum (FTE), pro rata based on contracted hours

We work alongside the people we support to promote independence, create opportunities and support people to live meaningful and connected lives within their communities.We are currently seeking a Social Care Worker to join our team in Trim on a specified purpose contract to cover maternity leave.
As a Social Care Worker, you will:

Provide person-centred support to adults with intellectual disabilities and autism

Support individuals to identify and work towards their personal goals

Promote independence, choice and inclusion

Support participation in social, recreational and community-based activities
-
Develop and maintain person-centred plans
-
Work collaboratively with families, colleagues and other professionals

Support the delivery of services in line with New Directions and Prosper Meath's policies and values
Essential Requirements
-
A relevant third-level qualification in Social Care
-
CORU registration as a Social Care Worker

Experience supporting adults with intellectual disabilities and/or autism

A strong understanding of person-centred planning and New Directions
-
Strong communication, organisational and teamwork skills

A full, clean manual driving licence
