Job Description
Clinical24 is currently recruiting experienced Support Workers for agency shifts across the Kerry area.
These opportunities are ideal for agency staff seeking consistent, block-booked hours while gaining valuable experience in intellectual disability and autism services.
Support Workers will provide person-centred care and daily living support, in line with individual care plans and multidisciplinary team guidance. This role requires patience, consistency, and an understanding of supporting individuals with additional physical and communication needs.
Pay Rates
€16 – €37 per hour (depending on shift pattern)
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, person-centred care
- Support individuals with daily living activities
- Follow structured care plans and routines
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
- Promote dignity, independence, and wellbeing
- Observe and respond to communication and behavioural cues
Ideal Candidate
- Compassionate, patient, and person-centred approach
- Experience supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities and/or autism
- Comfortable working with complex needs

Minimum Requirements
- QQI Level 5 in Healthcare Support (or equivalent)
- Minimum 6 months experience in healthcare/support settings
- Practical training in:
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Manual Handling
- Full driving licence (preferred)
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Eligibility to work in Ireland

Expected hours: 12 – 48 per week
