Key Responsibilities
- Carry out setting out and surveying duties on civil engineering and construction projects.
- Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and site plans.
- Establish and maintain site control points and levels.
- Ensure works are completed to the correct tolerances and dimensions.
- Use GPS equipment, total stations, and surveying instruments accurately.
- Liaise with site managers, subcontractors, and design teams to coordinate works.
- Monitor quality control and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Record and maintain accurate site documentation, surveys, and as-built information.
- Assist with site measurements, progress tracking, and reporting.
- Identify and resolve technical issues on site.
Requirements
- Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or related discipline.
- Previous experience in setting out for civil engineering or construction projects.
- Proficient in the use of total stations, GPS equipment, and surveying software.
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings and specifications.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Full driving licence preferred.
Desirable Skills
- Experience with roads, drainage, utilities, or infrastructure projects.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and surveying software.
- Familiarity with Irish construction standards and health & safety regulations.

Pay: €40,000.00-€45,000.00 per year
