OmniPro Group is building its first dedicated outbound sales function — and the Business Development Manager is the person who runs it. There are approximately 2,500 accounting firms in Ireland. OmniPro Group companies have worked with over 2,000 of them. The relationships exist. The trust exists. What has been missing is a dedicated commercial professional to systematically leverage that network, deepen existing relationships, and convert the full breadth of what OmniPro offers into revenue.
This is not just another cold-calling role. The Business Development Manager joins with one of the strongest existing client networks in the Irish professional services market already behind them. The mandate is to sell and cross-sell across the full OmniPro Group — ProfitPro memberships, Practice Support consulting engagements, Connext transaction opportunities, and corporate and tax advisory services — building a structured, CRM-managed pipeline that generates €500k+ in annual revenue contribution.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Identify and pursue new commercial opportunities across the OmniPro Group's platform businesses and professional services divisions — selling and cross-selling ProfitPro memberships, Practice Support consulting engagements, Connext transaction opportunities, and corporate advisory and tax services
· Design and execute outbound prospecting campaigns that generate a consistent, high-quality pipeline of qualified leads within the Irish accounting profession
· Qualify inbound and outbound leads efficiently, ensuring that only well-matched opportunities progress through the pipeline and that division leaders' time is protected
· Convert qualified opportunities into confirmed engagements — owning the sales process from first contact through to close
· Maintain accurate, up-to-date CRM pipeline records in Salesforce at all times — pipeline hygiene is non-negotiable in this role
· Build and develop trusted relationships with accounting firm principals, practice owners, and senior decision-makers across Ireland
· Work in close partnership with the OmniPro marketing team to convert campaign activity and inbound interest into qualified sales conversations
· Provide structured pipeline reporting and sales forecasting to the Group Head of Operations on a weekly basis
· Continuously develop market knowledge of the Irish accounting profession to identify emerging needs, new segments, and cross-sell opportunities across the group
About You
The right candidate is a confident, relationship-driven sales professional who understands the Irish professional services market and knows how to build trust with senior decision-makers. This individual is self-directed, commercially hungry, and disciplined enough to manage a complex multi-product pipeline without losing momentum or focus.
Experience & Track Record (Essential)
· Minimum 3–5 years in a business development, sales, or account management role with a clear track record of hitting and exceeding targets
· Proven experience selling high-value B2B services to senior decision-makers — practice owners, managing partners, or equivalent
· Experience working within or selling into the Irish accounting, professional services, or financial services sector is a strong advantage
· Demonstrated ability to manage a multi-product or multi-service pipeline simultaneously without losing commercial discipline
· Track record of building long-term client relationships rather than transactional one-off sales
Skills & Competencies (Essential)
· Commercial acumen — strong negotiation and closing capability, with a clear understanding of how to create and communicate value
· Networking — a proven ability to build and develop relationships at senior level in the Irish market
· CRM proficiency — comfortable working in Salesforce as a daily tool, not an afterthought; pipeline accuracy is a core standard of this role
· Communication — excellent interpersonal, presentation, and written skills; able to represent OmniPro Group credibly across multiple divisions and service lines
· Organisation — capable of managing a high volume of concurrent opportunities across different product areas without losing quality or follow-through
Education (Desirable)
· A degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline is an advantage, though a strong track record will always take precedence over academic qualification in this role
Character & Attributes (Essential)
· Proactive — does not wait to be directed; identifies opportunities and acts on them
· Self-driven — motivated by results, not activity for its own sake
· Resilient — sales involves rejection; the right candidate has the mental discipline to keep going and keep improving
· Relationship-first — understands that in the Irish accounting profession, trust is earned over time and that the best salespeople are trusted advisors, not pushers
· Comfortable working autonomously in a field-based role while staying fully connected to the group through regular reporting and CRM discipline
· Not afraid of the phone
