We're hiring a Senior Bartender to join the team at Pembroke Kilkenny – Ireland's Boutique Hotel of the Year 2024

The Role
As Senior Bartender, you'll be a key presence in Statham’s, setting the standard for service, supporting the smooth running of stock and team, and acting as a trusted point of reference for both guests and colleagues. You'll bring an element of ownership and seniority to the floor, keeping things running smoothly, spotting opportunities for improvement, and helping the team deliver at their best.
Your responsibilities will include:
· Delivering service excellence and maintaining best practice across the bar
· Supporting sales and upselling efforts, and helping strengthen the guest offer
· Contributing ideas to improve bar SOPs and the overall guest journey
· Communicating any issues around maintenance, guest care, health & safety, staff or cash handling promptly and clearly
· Motivating and supporting your teammates, and helping train others on bar standards
· Ensuring guest feedback is passed on through the daily handover
· Handling guest data and reservation details with discretion and accuracy
· Representing the Pembroke values and brand through your day-to-day approach
