Exhibition Landscapes is a well‑established landscaping company based in County Wicklow, delivering high‑quality garden builds, soft landscaping, and ongoing maintenance for private and commercial clients. As our business continues to grow, we are now seeking two motivated General Operatives to join our team.
POSITION 1: GENERAL OPERATIVE — SOFT LANDSCAPING & MAINTENANCE
Key Responsibilities
- Grass cutting (pedestrian and ride‑on)
- Hedge cutting, strimming, pruning, and general garden upkeep
- Weed control on beds, kerbs, and hard surfaces
- Planting shrubs, trees, and seasonal plants
- Mulching, edging, soil preparation, and bed maintenance
- Assisting with site tidy‑ups and seasonal works
- Maintaining high standards of presentation and workmanship
- Professional interaction with clients on site
Requirements
- Full B driving licence (required)
- Experience in landscaping or garden maintenance (required)
- Strong attention to detail and pride in work quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all weather
- Safe Pass (or willingness to obtain)
POSITION 2: GENERAL OPERATIVE — HARD LANDSCAPING
Key Responsibilities
- Ground preparation, excavation, and site setup
- Assisting with laying paving, kerbing, edging, and stonework
- Mixing and handling concrete, mortar, aggregates, and materials
- Building retaining walls, steps, and structural features
- Operating tools and machinery (training provided where needed)
- Loading/unloading materials and maintaining a clean, safe site
- Supporting skilled landscapers and following instructions accurately
Requirements
- Full B driving licence (required)
- Experience in hard landscaping, construction, or a similar trade (required)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Good physical fitness and ability to carry out manual labour
- Safe Pass (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work well within a team and follow safety procedures
Pay
- Starting at €16 per hour, depending on experience
