Well Café | Killarney
Well Café is looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant / Café Cook to join our team in Killarney.
This is a hands-on role in a busy wellness-focused café. Our menu is fresh, simple and efficient, with a focus on quality ingredients, healthy bowls, wraps, toasties, breakfast items and café favourites.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for helping with the smooth day-to-day running of our kitchen, including:
- Preparing and cooking menu items to a consistent standard
- Morning food preparation and kitchen set-up
- Preparing ingredients for bowls, wraps, toasties and breakfast dishes
- Baking and preparing daily café items
- Maintaining excellent food presentation and portion control
- Keeping the kitchen clean, organised and well stocked
- Monitoring stock levels and communicating when items need to be ordered
- Following HACCP, food safety and hygiene procedures
- Supporting the wider café team during busy periods
- Completing end-of-day cleaning and kitchen close-down
Who We're Looking For
Previous kitchen or food preparation experience is preferred, but formal chef qualifications are not essential.
