SENIOR ESTIMATOR – DUBLIN
CONSTRUCTION
OVERVIEW
A leading contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to join their pre-construction team in Dublin. The successful candidate will play a key role in preparing competitive tenders and supporting major project bids.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissions
- Analyse drawings, specifications, and project documentation
- Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers for pricing
- Identify project risks and value engineering opportunities
- Assist with bid presentations and client engagement
- Support the commercial and pre-construction teams
- Maintain accurate tender records and documentation
- Ensure tenders are submitted within deadlines
REQUIREMENTS
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or related discipline
- Previous experience in an Estimator or Senior Estimator role
- Strong analytical and commercial skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication and organisational abilities
- Experience working on large-scale construction projects preferred
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
