Dole Food Service is a major wholesale distributor seeking a warehouse operator to join their team in Galway. The role involves accurately picking orders, following company procedures, and meeting deadlines. The candidate should have a positive attitude, strong work ethic. Previous warehouse experience, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are crucial for success in this role. Currently on the lookout for a fulltime & part time worker.
Responsibilities:
- Ensuring all orders are picked accurately, in line with company SOP’s.
- Working off a consolidated picking manifest
- Working to deadlines, ensuring all orders are dispatched on schedule.
- Read carefully through the picking list, identifying the product and quantity against the relevant sales order.
- Methodically pack each order in line with company standards.
- Maintaining high standards of housekeeping while operating a strict clean as you go policy.
- Support colleagues and maintain a positive working environment in delivering service excellence to our customers.
Skills & Experience:
- Flexible, reliable, hardworking with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to use own initiative with strong accuracy and attention to detail.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment with a desire for excellence.
