Role Summary
Are you an ambitious, proactive individual with a strong interest in sales and the energy industry? We are seeking a driven talent to join our team as Junior Energy Broker. In this role, you will be trained to build relationships and arrange transactions between Marex's clients in European power and gas. This is an excellent opportunity for a sales-driven individual to develop expertise in energy brokerage while making a significant impact on the marketplace.
Responsibilities:
- Engage in arranging transactions in energy commodities, focusing on European power & gas.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, including banks, hedge funds, trading houses, and corporates in the European market.
- Support the onboarding of new clients and ensure ongoing relationship management.
- Assist in client communication, providing regular updates and ensuring satisfaction.
- Develop strategies to increase profit and growth by analyzing market trends and products.
- Contribute to process improvements and assist in the development of new frameworks.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including Operations and Technology, to support trading functions.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Uphold high standards of integrity and professionalism in line with company values and policies.

Experience/knowledge of working in a regulated financial services environment with a good knowledge of the risk and compliance requirements associated with this.
