Vacancy: School Aged Care Practitioner
Duties of the Role:
- To assist in the day to day organisation and running of the Afterschool Care Programme, providing high standards of care and play opportunities for children between the ages of 4-12 years old in a safe and secure environment.
- Planning and implementing creative and exciting activities and play opportunities for the children.
- Supporting children in social, emotional, physical development. Conflict resolution / behaviour management.
- Working within the framework of the Centre’s and school’s policies and procedures.
Requirements for the role:
- Minimum of 1 years’ experience in working with children
- First Aid Certificate an advantage
- Child Protection training an advantage
- QQI Level 5 in Early Childhood Care & Education is desirable but not essential
Hours: 20 hours between the hours of 1.15pm and 5:15 Monday to Friday
