We’re looking for someone to be in charge of coffee roasting, and must have a strong attention to detail, excellent concentration, and good technical skills.
Role Overview
Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning daily roast schedules
- Production roasting (following our profiles on Cropster)
- Inventory management
- Cleaning and maintenance of the roastery equipment and work space
- Cupping coffee for quality control
- Researching new coffees and cupping samples
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years specialty coffee experience
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Detail-oriented and capable of adhering to production protocols
- Ability to manage competing priorities, work efficiently, and maintain high standards under pressure
- A hands-on approach, comfortable with physical tasks such as lifting and moving equipment or stock, and being on your feet for extended periods
- Coffee roasting experience preferred, but we will train the right candidate if they are new to production roasting
