At Castletroy Golf Club, we take pride in providing not just outstanding golf experiences but also maintaining a clean, welcoming environment around our clubhouse and facilities. We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Part-Time Grounds Support Assistant to help keep our clubhouse and surrounding areas in top condition.
Position Summary: In this hands-on role, you’ll play a key part in keeping our clubhouse and operational zones neat, tidy, and functional. Your duties will focus on maintaining clean and organized buggy sheds, managing the sandbag supply around the course, and supporting general upkeep of the immediate clubhouse area. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys practical outdoor work, has good attention to detail, and takes pride in their surroundings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Replace and replenish sandbags from the bag drop area to the sand station pick-up zones.
- Ensure buggy sheds are kept clean, tidy, and organised throughout the day.
- Assist with general cleanliness and basic maintenance around the clubhouse surroundings.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety concerns promptly to the supervisor.
- Work collaboratively with the broader team to ensure a high standard of presentation at all times.
Schedule:
- 5 days per week
- 3 hours per day
- 9am to 12pm, 5 days a week
Qualifications:
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Comfortable with light physical work, including lifting and moving sandbags.
- Good attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Positive attitude and team spirit.
- Previous experience in a similar role (grounds, maintenance, or cleaning) is helpful but not essential.
