The Opportunity: Aftermarket Sales Manager

Working Arrangement: Full-time, Office-Based
International Travel : The successful candidate should be willing to undertake occasional international travel as part of their duties. This is expected to involve approximately 3-4 trips annually for meetings, training, customer visits, trade shows, and other business-related activities.
We are seeking an experienced Aftermarket Sales Manager to join our Global Services team.
This is a commercially focused role responsible for managing and growing revenue from our existing customer base through the sale of spare parts, service contracts, preventative maintenance programmes, and onsite services. The successful candidate will build strong customer relationships, manage quotations and enquiries, and identify opportunities to expand aftermarket sales.
Key Responsibilities:
· Manage customer enquiries and quotations through the CRM system from initial request through to order closure.
· Prepare accurate costings and quotations, ensuring timely responses to customer requests.
· Follow up on quotations and sales opportunities to maximise conversion rates.
· Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to drive aftermarket sales growth.
· Identify opportunities to increase sales of spare parts, service contracts, preventative maintenance programmes, and onsite services.
· Act as the primary point of contact for aftermarket customers, coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely resolution of customer requirements.
· Manage customer Service Level Agreements (SLAs), including costing, renewals, and ensuring contractual commitments are achieved.
· Work closely with Service Engineers, Spare Parts Fulfilment Coordinators, Engineering, and Logistics teams to ensure efficient service delivery and order fulfilment.
· Maintain accurate customer, quotation, and opportunity records within CRM and ERP systems.
· Conduct customer site visits as required to strengthen relationships and identify new business opportunities
REQUIRED EDUCATION, SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
· Minimum 5 years' experience in account management, aftermarket sales, technical sales, or business development.
· Experience within the pharmaceutical, life sciences, manufacturing, engineering, or automation sectors would be advantageous.
· Proven ability to grow revenue within existing customer accounts.
· Experience preparing quotations, completing costing exercises, and managing sales opportunities through to closure.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong interpersonal abilities.
· Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
· Strong commercial awareness and customer-focused mindset.
· Proactive, self-motivated, reliable, and results-driven.
· Strong attention to detail and excellent time-management skills.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
· Experience using CRM and ERP systems.
· Professional and confident customer-facing manner.
