Job Title: Mechanic
Reports to: Supervisor/Manager
Location: Westport
Job Summary:
The Motor Mechanic is responsible for the full maintenance and repairs of the vehicle. You must have the ability to work on all brands of motor vehicles fitting tyres, brakes, shocks, ordering parts, exhausts, full & intermediate servicing etc
Key Tasks Required:
Ability to identify faults, tyres, repair components & fit new and manufactured parts.
Good mechanical aptitude
Undertaking full inspection before hand-over to customer
Recording all relevant details, completing records etc
Understanding of diagnostics and fault finding
Good communication skills
Ability to work well as part of a team
Maintaining a clean and neat workspace and adhering to all company policies, procedures and safety standards
Experience in Tyre fitting an advantage
Essential Requirements:
Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role
Full Current Driving Licence essential
Experience in both Diagnostics and Fault Finding
