Shelley Interiors is seeking an experienced CAD Designer to join our team to produce and design detailed shop drawings for bespoke furniture, kitchens, and high-end cabinetry for both domestic and commercial projects.
This role is best suited toward someone who understands how cabinetry is built, not just drawn.
You must be able to take design concepts and ideas with site measurements and details to produce reliable and accurate shop drawings for manufacturing and installation.
Key responsibilities include:
● Interpret and work from detailed design briefs, architectural drawings, and client briefs.
● Produce detailed shop drawings for kitchens, wardrobes, and bespoke cabinetry for both domestic and commercial customers.
● Produce detailed installation drawings and instructions for installation teams.
● Liaise with designers, production staff, and installers to create accurate detailed drawings.
● Check drawings for buildability, dimensions, materials, and hardware.
● Make revisions when required while maintaining drawing accuracy and control.
● Ensure drawings are to a high standard and issued on time.
Key Requirements:
● Proven experience producing shop drawings for cabinetry and fitted furniture.
● Strong understanding of cabinet construction methods, materials, and hardware.
● High attention to detail.
● Strong communication skills.
● Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
● Experienced in Besoke cabinetry for residential and commercial fitouts.
● Converting 3D cad drawings to CNC files for production.
Pay: €35,000.00-€45,000.00 per year
