Cronin Group is an established specialist logistics and relocation company. We provide workplace relocations, specialist logistics, machinery moving, distribution and FF&E services to customers throughout Ireland.
Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced and reliable General Operative / Handyman to join our team.
The Role
This is a practical, hands-on position suited to someone who has previous experience working as a General Operative, Handyman, Furniture Installer/Fitter or similar role.
Roles & Responsibilities
The role will include:
- Assembly and disassembly of office desks, tables, chairs, cabinets, shelving and other furniture.
- Carrying out general handyman, repair and maintenance tasks.
- Assisting with workplace relocations, furniture moves and installation projects.
- Driving company vehicles where required.
- Reading, understanding and following Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS).
- Following all Cronin Group Health & Safety procedures and customer site requirements.
- Providing a professional and courteous service when working at customer premises.
- Working effectively with Team Leaders, Project Managers and other crew members.
- Undertaking other general operative and handyman duties as required.
Essential Requirements
Applicants must have:
- Previous experience as a General Operative, Handyman, Furniture Fitter/Installer or similar practical role.
- Full, clean Category B driving licence.
- Valid Safe Pass.
- Valid Manual Handling Certificate.
- Good understanding of workplace Health & Safety.
- Ability to carry out physical work, including lifting and moving furniture and equipment.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and on own initiative.
- Reliable, punctual and professional approach to work.
- Good communication skills.
Pay: €16.00-€18.00 per hour
