Job Overview:
We are seeking a Service Engineer to maintain, service and repair equipment on client sites and in the workshop. This is a field-based role with travel to customer locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform planned and reactive maintenance on equipment both on-site and in the workshop
- Diagnose and repair mechanical faults efficiently
- Service and inspect equipment to ensure safety and optimal performance
- Use hand and power tools to complete maintenance and repairs
- Liaise with clients professionally and provide excellent service
- Follow all health & safety regulations and complete accurate job documentation
- Support colleagues and contribute to a positive team environment
Requirements:
- Qualified Construction Plant Fitter or HGV Mechanic (or equivalent experience)
- Strong mechanical fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Experience with heavy plant, lifting equipment or similar machinery
- Ability to work independently across multiple sites
- Good communication skills and a professional approach to clients
- Willingness to travel to client sites
- Full, valid driving licence
Benefits:
- €24.50 per hour
- Average earnings of €60,000 - €65,000
- 1.5x overtime
