Garlans traditional Irish bar of Kingscourt, Co. Cavan, under new management, is seeking a passionate, ambitious and creative Gastro bar chef to lead the culinary offering within our newly acquired business.
This role is ideal for an up and coming chef who is eager to make their mark by combining traditional Irish pub favorites with modern cooking techniques, seasonal ingredients and innovative new concepts.
reporting directly to the owners, the successful candidate will play a key role in developing the food offering that reflects the character of a traditional Irish pub while appealing to contemporary diners seeking high quality, trend led gastro dining experiences.
Key responsibilities Of Gastro Bar chef:

Prepare, cook and present dishes to the highest standards

Deliver quality, consistency and attention to detail across all menu items

champion fresh, locally sourced and seasonal ingredients

Ensure dishes are visually appealing and aligned with current food trends

Maintain high standards of portion control and food quality
